Customer questions
Is CrewCove free for customers?
Yes. Creating a customer account and posting projects is free. If you pay a business through CrewCove, a small CrewCove Service Fee is shown before you pay.
How do I post a project?
Create a customer account, then choose "Post a Project" from your dashboard. Describe the work, location, timeline and budget, and add photos if they help.
How do businesses contact me?
Businesses that serve your area can respond to your project with a quote and a message. Responses appear on the project in your dashboard.
Can I compare businesses?
Yes. Each response links to the business profile, where you can review services, portfolio work and reviews before choosing.
Can I pay through CrewCove?
When a business sends you a payment request, you can pay it from the Payments page and get a receipt. Payments currently run in demo mode, so no real money moves.
What is the CrewCove Service Fee?
The CrewCove Service Fee supports secure platform payments, project tools and CrewCove marketplace services. It is 1.75% of the payment amount and is always shown before you pay.
Can I leave reviews?
Yes. Once a project is marked complete, you can review the business you chose. Each project can be reviewed once.
What happens if I have a problem with a project?
Start by messaging the business from the project page. If you can't resolve it, contact us with the project details.

How do I receive customer leads?
Customer projects in your service area and trades appear under Opportunities in your dashboard. You choose which ones to respond to.
How do payments work?
Connect a payout account in settings, then send payment requests to customers from a project. You can track paid, pending and refunded payments on the Payments page. Payments currently run in demo mode.
How do reviews work?
Customers can review you after a project is complete. You can post one public reply to each review from the Reviews page.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can change or cancel your plan from Settings, under Billing & Plan.
Advanced questions
Can I work as a subcontractor?
Yes, on Business Advanced. Turn on "Accept subcontracting work" in your capabilities to browse and apply to subcontracting opportunities.
Can I hire subcontractors?
Yes, on Business Advanced. Turn on "Hire subcontractors" to post work and review applicants.
Where do commercial opportunities come from?
Commercial opportunities are posted by property owners, developers and general contractors. In this prototype they are demo listings.
Where do government opportunities come from?
Government opportunities are based on public solicitations. In this prototype they are demo listings, not live feeds from any government system. Always confirm details with the issuing agency.
Does CrewCove guarantee contract awards?
No. CrewCove helps you find and respond to opportunities. It does not guarantee that you will win any project, proposal, bid or government contract.
